Midland College (MC) was set up as an independent junior college in 1972 and held its 1st classes on campus in 1975. Since that time, the campus, one of the most pretty in the nation, has grown to a 704, 752 square foot main campus on 224 acres in the middle of Midland, Texas - a county seat of over one hundred, 000 people. The institution, overall, has expanded to include eight other campus extensions, including an 85, 000 square-foot Advanced Technology Center.
