| Midland Energy Library is a non-profit library set up in 1984-85 to house and preserve scientific petroleum data for present and future researchers and explorationists in the oil and gas industry. Over 200 firms and individuals supported the project with the purchase of library memberships, and foundation grants were received for the purchase of equipment. | The Recording Library of West Texas supplies audio recordings to enrich the lives of people who cannot access the printed word. 1998 figures from the Texas Commission for the Blind indicate there are 11, 000 visually impaired residents in the Permian Basin region. We produce materials for customers of any age, religious affiliation, or ethnicity. They each have an exceptional story. | The Subsurface Library is the Permian Basin's oldest and biggest privately owned geological data library. The Library has over 1, 000, 000 Electric Logs (800, 000 are barcoded and searchable by computer and 220, 000 are on Micro-fiche) as well as six different historical Scout Ticket collections, Sample Logs, Production Data, up-to-date County Land Maps and current Scouting Information.
